My antivirus picked up a virus in this download!!!!!

Hi anon,

Whatever your antivirus is picked up is not a virus, merely a keygen in the download. Unfortunately many of those programs which generate the keys necessary for softwares often are mis-recognized as viruses by some antiviruses now-a-days.

Please be ensured that we have tested these softwares on our systems which run avast antivirus updated(as on the date posted) and has found no problems.
If you still feel a doubt please be aware, this has been the most downloaded software from Livewares (7932 times), and only your antivirus picked up a threat.

Thanks

well mine picked up a threat to so Anonymous is not the only one.

Red_Devil said...

Well, it contains no threat at all,
but here is a new version for all those still in doubt

http://livewares.blogspot.com/2008/12/total-video-converter-v314-full.html

It has only a single exe file which is the setup.

Tried the new link:
http://livewares.blogspot.com/2008/12/total-video-converter-v314-full.html

It was downloading just fine and the last 10% sent my Avast! home warning off with this info

File name: http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/1/1/2247948/Total%20Video%20Converter%203.14.rar\TVC.exe

Malware Name: Win32:Agent-AEIM [Spy]

VPS version: 090906-1, 09/06/2009

Any ideas...trying to convert divx to avi?
